The Democrat and Republican Parties each have county level elected officials that lead at the local level. The Ventura County Republican Central Committee is comprised of 22 people representing the, segmented by five districts. These are elected positions and responsible for various local activities to benefit the party, including:

• Candidate Recruitment & Training
• Outreach to Registered Republicans
• Fundraising & Marketing Assistance
• Expand Voter Registration
• Influence Decisions of Elected Officials that Benefit Republican Goals
• Liaison to the State Party

In Ventura County, the Democrats have controlled all categories for many years. The State Senate, Assembly, Congressional Seats, and Supervisors have easily won and held seats. In some cases, The Republican Party didn’t even have a Republican candidate. It’s time to change those odds, and that’s needed at the Central Committee level. Only registered Republicans can vote for Republicans for these positions.
