SOPHIA DE DOMENICO

Sophia is a proud first-generation American of a communist refugee, and a native southern Californian. A long-term resident of Thousand Oaks, she resides in the city with her husband, Jeff, and their three elementary-aged children. She and her husband are local business owners in the construction and design industries. Sophia holds a B.A. from Cal State Northridge.
Prior to their businesses, Sophia spent many years in the biotech industry. There, she gained a rich business acumen, which will help her when elected to the central committee. From her Fortune 500 experience to her repertoire of owning her own businesses, she encompasses a skill set adept at restructuring and growing companies from the ground up. She excels at building teams and leading people of diverse backgrounds toward accomplishing common goals.
Sophia is an active community volunteer. She is a newly elected member on the board of the local homeless organization, Gabriel’s House. She is the VP of her children’s school PTSA. She has served as a leader, coach, and volunteer to many local organizations such as AYSO, Steel United, TO Little League, MOPS, the Bridge Church, and more.
In the 2022 election, Sophia ran for office as a school board trustee candidate in the Conejo Valley. This experience opened her eyes to the opportunities and pitfalls that currently lie in the GOP. She is running for central committee to help infuse new leadership into the Republican Party. With her expertise, she is confident she can develop new strategies to help us win local elections.
